| dc.description.abstract | Güney Kore, küresel ve bölgesel siyasette giderek etkili bir aktör olmaya başlamıştır. Bunda 1997 yılındaki krizden sonra geliştirdiği dışa açılma stratejisi ve bu kapsamda imzaladığı STA'ların etkisi büyüktür. Bu STA'ların içerisinde özellikle AB ile imzalamış olduğu STA, hem Güney Kore ve AB'nin ticaret hacmi bakımından hem de STA'nın kapsamı bakımından önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu tez, Güney Kore-AB STA'sının önemini göz önünde bulundurarak, özellikle Güney Kore'nin yaşadığı iç ekonomik ve siyasi değişimlerle birlikte STA'nın öncesindeki süreçleri, tarafları STA imzalamaya iten sebepleri ve STA'nın sonuçlarını incelemektedir. Bunu yaparken de teorik çerçeve olarak Andrew Moravcsik'in Liberal Hükümetlerarasıcılık teorisinden faydalanılmıştır. Dolayısıyla bu çalışma, Liberal Hükümetlerarasıcılığı Güney Kore-AB STA'sı üzerinde incelerken, söz konusu STA'yı ayrıntılı analiz etmesiyle diğer çalışmalar arasından öne çıkmaktadır. South Korea is becoming an increasingly influential actor in global and regional politics. The strategy of opening up after the crisis in 1997 and signing FTAs in this context have a great impact on this. Among these FTAs, the FTA that it has signed with the EU has an importance both in terms of trade volume between South Korea and the EU and FTA's scope. Considering the importance of South Korea-EU FTA, this thesis examines the internal economic and political changes experienced by South Korea, the processes that preceded the FTA, the reasons that led the parties to sign the FTA and the results of the FTA. Andrew Moravcsik's theory of liberal intergovernmentalism was used as a theoretical framework. Therefore, this study is distinguised among other studies by examining liberal intergovernmentalism on the South Korea-EU FTA and analyzing the FTA in detail. | tr_TR |
